Acciaierie Venete S.p.A. has issued the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) for a blooming mill extensively modernized by Primetals Technologies at its Camin, Italy location.

Since early 2015, the continuous caster of Slovenian steelmaker Acroni, d.o.o. (member of SIJ – Slovenian Steel Group) that was modernized by Primetals Technologies also produces X120Mn12 wear resistant grade.

Turkish steel producer Kroman Çelìk Sanayìì A.Ş. has contracted with Primetals Technologies to apply advanced technology to a wire rod outlet built in 2008 to expand its product line with high carbon wire rod.

The intensive cooling system will be installed in the company's existing plate rolling mill which is currently being re-located from Shanghai to Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, and is scheduled to be operational in March 2016.

The new combined primary and secondary dedusting system from Primetals Technologies has been in full operation at Buderus Edelstahl GmbH in Wetzlar, Germany since February 2015.
