STUDENT INTERNSHIPS
We offer internships mainly for applicants with a technical education background. Interns are deployed according to their education for a period of at least four weeks in various company departments from technology to engineering to project development.
This training is interesting for the following groups:
- Students at a Higher Technical School (HTBLA)
- Students from a technical university or college in the fields of mechanical engineering, mining engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, materials science, computer science, etc.
- People with a different educational background (HAK, HBLA, AHS, commercial university, etc.)

DIPLOMA THESIS
Primetals Technologies could be your partner when it comes to writing your bachelor's, master's or diploma thesis. Additionally, we also offer you the opportunity to complete an internship as part of our team. Work for us as a working student, which is also possible on an external basis. You will gain a deep insight into the day-to-day business of a worldwide leading global company and gain valuable experience – both for your field and your personality. Deepen your theoretical knowledge, gain new insights, and improve your skills in practice.
Our experienced employees will coach you throughout your internship or as a working student and will share valuable feedback regarding your thesis. By exchanging ideas with colleagues and other interns, you will also gain valuable insights into different areas of work and can expand your network.
